05-13-14 Focused
By Scott Shephard
This is the second in a series of "found photos" from my days of film and darkrooms. The title of this photo is a bit of a paradox as it is obvious that the cat is very clearly focused on something but my camera is not particularly well focused on the cat (whose name is Hecate).
Focusing on something behind a screen is problematic for cameras with autofocus but I don't have that as an excuse with this picture since it was taken with a camera that required me to manually focus it. Oh well. . . . I like the photo. And I liked the cat, though in her fairly long life I never really knew if she liked me. Such is the nature of cats.
