Deb and I leave for our cabin in the Black Hills tomorrow for our annual Black Hills Photo Adventure workshop. There are seven eager photographers registered and I look forward to spending time with fellow enthusiasts. For me, photography is an intentionally solitary enterprise. But as a teacher, it's different, of course. And seven is a perfect number. It looks like the weather will be picture perfect.

This photo, incidentally, was taken at last year's photo adventure. This is a view of Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park.
