12-20-14 Focal Point
By Scott Shephard
I have posted three photos in black and white over the last three days. So today I thought I'd treat you to a little color.
This photo was taken in a section of the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art. And I have confession to make: I didn't think I liked western art. My tastes are very Euro-Centric, largely because that's what I've chosen to learn about. When we are self-taught, our world view is inclined to be a bit narrow sometimes.
But I am a BIG fan now. And I thank the Eiteljorg museum for this. The art is beautifully presented in a serene and logical setting. I realize I have much to learn.

Also, if you want a distraction from all of this fine art and are visiting between the Thanksgiving and the end of January, you can take in Jingle Rails, which is presented by the Indiana Railroad. It's amazing!
