I have a penchant for architectural photography and so when Deb and I visited Indianapolis in December, 2015, I made a point of visiting the Indiana State capitol building. I'll have to admit that I was disappointed but not by the architecture, which was magnificent. Instead it was all the Christmas decorations that were in the rotunda. I realize that states decorate their capitol buildings for the season and I don't fault them for this. It's just that I big wreath with noticeable wires and an electric cord didn't do much for the dome. That's OK. I'll have to go back another time, which is something I say about almost everything I photograph.

Here, incidentally, you are looking at the third floor of the building. As you can see, I had the place to myself. Perfect!
