People may look at this photo of Maggie and think we were going for the RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsburg) look given the collar and the dark rimmed “glasses.” But that’s not it at all.
The collar is a Brass family heirloom, a variety of which might have been worn by Maggie’s mother Katie and Katie’s two sisters for photo opportunities many years ago.
The glasses - more appropriately, swim goggles - were an attempt to pacify a generally uncooperative subject. And they worked.
Is this the “real” Maggie? Well, like all toddlers, she is complicated. But she doesn’t mind being an entertainer. And sooner or later she will learn to pose for her grandpa.
