Today is the 12th and final day of the trip I am calling “Camping with Deb and Zeke.” We have covered around 2000 miles and this morning we are at Flandrau State Park in New Ulm, MN. But the photo you see here was taken yesterday showing one of many walking trails at Ledges State Park near Boone, Iowa.
This trip was not a “Fall Foliage” tour. In fact, the majority of our camping was in Missouri and Arkansas where fall isn’t slated to arrive for another week or so. But Iowa? I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, all of which were taken at Ledges State Park in central Iowa. It was clearly a target rich environment.
