We had spent a great week in British Virgin Islands in May, 2014, and were heading back to Road Town, Tortola, on the last morning of our charter when I took this photo. "We" were Deb and I along with Scott and Sandy D.
"We" are thinking about going back next year and that's what got me thinking about our last trip there and this photo. The untrained eye might think I'm sailing on Lake Oahe in South Dakota. But central South Dakota isn't quite as mountainous as the BVI. And there are no significant housing developments along the shores of the Missouri River as you see off in the distance in this photo. Maybe cows. And very few trees. The sky is the same sky we see here. And maybe the clouds, too.
