Many of you know that due to construction navigating east Highway 212 in Watertown takes considerable patience if done at the wrong time of day. But on a Sunday morning at 8:30 am, you would have the road almost entirely to yourself. Timing is everything. The same goes for photography.
Yesterday morning was a perfect time to fly my drone and I went hunting for other construction projects besides those near our house that I’ve photographed so much. Clearly, There’s a lot going on in our town. Here are a few of the ongoing projects in Watertown:
Housing development 1/4 mile west of Hobby Lobby. (Road on right is Willow Creek Drive)
New development 1/4 mile NW of Hobby Lobby (on north side of Willow Creek Drive)
New road and development just north of 212 and west of Trav’s Outfitters
New car wash across the street from Culver’s
New construction at Benet Place (Harmony Hill)
Glacial Lakes Ethanol - not new construction but I couldn’t resist.
The last picture is a satellite view of the drone locations for the main post and the first 4 photos in the slide show.
