Today, I am taking you back to July 8, 2005. Deb and I were on wonderful 14 day trip with students to France and Italy and were visiting Montmartre in Paris. Like many photos I take, the subjects found me - I didn't exactly go to Paris to take a photo of a child watching a man feed the birds. But here they are.
What I like about this photo is that I get the sense that what the man is doing is routine to him but that to the child (and to me) it is marvelous. We should try to see the world with the eyes of a child more often. . . .
