As many of you may know, Brian and Katie welcomed a new addition to our family in the early hours of July 13. Her name is Irene Bernice Shephard. She is beautiful, of course, and is doing well. Seeing her sister for the first time is Glenyce Jane. Irene gets her name from Katies' dad's mom and from my mom.
This video is a bit of a departure from "normal" because this blog usually showcases still images. Today is also unusual in that I welcome a guest artist - Deb, my wife. She did a brilliant job of capturing the video while I, like paparazzi, fired away with my big and noisy camera.
