In all the years I've produced this blog and in all of the hundreds of posts, I've never used any form of the word "porn." Back when I was using Wordpress to publish, I did learn that if I casually used "sex" anywhere in a post, or "nude beach," or some other word that drives the prurient interests of the Googlebot, I would get more hits. Aside from satisfying an academic curiosity, I generally didn't play that game.
But, including the title, I've now I've used "porn" 2 times in this one post. Oops, 3 because I just used it again. Imagine the disappointment of the Google searcher who comes to "A Photo A Day" and finds only clouds!
Oh, and I should say that if you search #cloudporn, here's a little of what you get: (I suspect you'll need accounts to see these. These should all be SFW but I offer no guarantees.)
And, in case I've piqued your curiosity, here's my blog photo entitled "View of a Nude Beach - Corfu." Don't strain your eyes and don't be disappointed - there's no porn in that photo. (I've now used "porn" 7 times and "nude beach" 3 times. Will the Googlebot show me a little love today?)
