09-14-14 Flashback Sunday: A Portrait of the Artist As A Younger Man

September 14, 2014 in Blog, Black Hills, Flashback, people

By Scott Shephard

I set the Way-Back Machine for 2004 and this is what popped up.

"Who took the photo?" you ask.

"I did," I say.

"How?" you ask.

"I put the camera on a tripod and used a self-timer," I say.

"Really!" you respond. "Isn't that a little self-indulgent?" you add.

"Yes," I say. "But the whole blog is self-indulgent. So why not a selfie?"

End of conversation.
