I set the Way-Back Machine for 2004 and this is what popped up.
"Who took the photo?" you ask.
"I did," I say.
"How?" you ask.
"I put the camera on a tripod and used a self-timer," I say.
"Really!" you respond. "Isn't that a little self-indulgent?" you add.
"Yes," I say. "But the whole blog is self-indulgent. So why not a selfie?"
