11-02-15 Happy Day!

Yesterday (11-1-15) was granddaughter Irene Bernice Shephard's baptism day. It was a special day for her friends and family but I'm thinking that every day is a special day for Ibby.

She's smiling here, as she often does. But I don't think she's smiling because she knows that she's wearing the baptismal gown her great-grandmother Jane made for her mother Katherine and which her sister Glenyce wore for her baptism a couple of years ago. Nor do I think she's happy because she's lying on a quilt made by namesake great-grandmother Irene. She's just smiling.

And so are we.
