Winter doesn't officially begin for another month in the northern hemisphere but one of the results of living in South Dakota is that we get extra winter months. If I were in to ice fishing, snowmobiling and cross country skiing, that would be a good thing. But I'm a sailor who enjoys warm summer winds.
So why do I live here? Because it's home. And because it's where our friends and family live. And I'll certainly endure yet another winter for all of those blessings.
