The resort we stayed at in Mexico a while back had many virtues, good food, good service and, warm weather being high on the list. The resort also had many coati, the animal you see here. Depending of your point of view, they could be adorable. Or they could be obnoxious.
And, if you wanted to be their friend, all you had to do was give them a little food. I didn't see it, but the man pictured here must have done something to entice them. And, like the pied piper, he immediately had a following. (They didn't follow me, incidentally, because I only had a camera.I also obeyed the resort rule: "DON'T feed the coati!")
