I thought I would juxtapose yesterday's photo of the Safari Endeavour in Aqua Verde with one of her waiting patiently while several of her passengers enjoyed the intriguing ice-filled waters somewhere near Stepen's Passage in Alaska.
While there was plenty of ice for us to navigate through in smaller boats, it's not quite as dangerous as it might look. But it was certainly a thrill for me and the others in our boat. Later, I had a chunk of this pure, 300 year old ice in a glass of 12 year old Scotch. Like Aqua Verde yesterday, perfect!
