If you were puzzled by the one-line tease for this post, you should be. I was confused years ago when I came across this sentence in an article about the moon in a fairly serious magazine. Where are the editors when you need them?
Anyway, I took this a few days ago sailing on starboard tack under a light western breeze as I made my way north on Lake Oahe. I'm afraid the moon looks pretty small in this photo but maybe that's because Lake Oahe and the wide open reaches of central South Dakota make almost anything seem small.
