This is our last morning at the cabin before returning home. Over the last several days, we've had several deer and their fawn visit our front yard. But this morning the doe Deb nicknamed "Scarface" showed up with two of her male friends.
In the deer world, I'm guessing three's a crowd when it comes to mating. But when it comes to a free cracked corn feed, it's all good. Scarface, incidentally, was the dominant doe when feeding on other days: no other doe was allowed close to the corn. But today, she didn't seem to mind at all when the bucks fed right next to her. Such is the nature of the Wild Kingdom. . . .
