If my interests in photographing a subject such as this leaned towards botany instead of texture, color, lines and symmetry, I might be able to tell what this plant is. All I can say is that it is some kind of flower that I saw growing in Indian Canyons just outside of Palm Springs, California. And maybe that's enough . . . .
