We spent a part of our morning yesterday visiting the Washington Park Arboretum. One of the gems of this place is the Japanese garden, which was quickly over-run with tourists like us, but beautiful nonetheless.
Because I didn't want people in the the photos I took, I went looking for interesting things that other people didn't find all that interesting - like this vibrant Japanese maple which hasn't yet turned red. Perfect.
As you might imagine, I could have spent the whole morning here, but we had other obligations.
