Given that this is the third Japanese maple photo I've posted in three days, I guess I will hereby declare a theme: Japanese maple trees. But I'm afraid I don't have much more in my repertoire.
I photographed this tree several years ago in Olympia, Washington, in yet another Washington Japanese garden. The tree is beautiful, of course, and all I had to to do was be lucky enough to be there at the right time with the right light. The tree did all the hard work in this photo. :-)
