First, I should credit my wife, Deb, with this location. She found it on a morning walk recently and was compelled to share it with me. It's nice to have another set of eyes.
Second, I was struck by the colors, of course, as was Deb. But when I studied this photo on my computer, I was also struck by how this looks like a perverse atomic model of something.
Third, in the tease to this post I ask if there is order in the chaos. There are some who would say that there is order in everything, even if science can't find and explain it. I think it's called chaos theory.
Whatever you care to ponder today, ponder the beautiful blues and reds of these berries. And then ponder the fact that these colors mean that fall is on the way.
