Irene Bernice, aka Ibby, was in an “I’m not going to look at your camera when you take a photo” phase on the day she posed for this photo. Instead, when I said I wanted a photo, she would look off into the distance. She must of have been channeling 1940s movie stars.
But that’s OK. You don’t fight Irene Bernice. She’s an amazing child but she’s not always malleable, which is part of what makes her amazing.
