Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area, which is west of Yankton, SD, has over 400 campsites. Tonight (December 9th, 2020) Ozzie, our Winnebago Micro Minnie, will be the only camper here. Deb and I will have the whole place to ourselves. Such is the nature of camping in South Dakota in December.
Social distancing? No problem. Peace and quiet? They are both here in abundance here. Of course, camping in snow-free weather where the night time low is 42 degrees is unusual. Winter will surely come to South Dakota but not today or tomorrow. :-)
