This is one of those photos that you might say “Ho hum - I’ve seen hundreds of clouds at sunrise. What’s special about this?” Answer: “Probably nothing. You had to be there.”
Most photographs require us to see some little piece of the world as the photographer has seen it. My daisy photo or my butterfly photo are examples of this.
But with this photo, I want you to stand next to me. Forget about the camera I hold. Can you hear the pristine silence? Can you feel the humid morning warmth? Can you take a deep breath and imagine the possibilities of another beautiful day?
