Yesterday I was complaining about winter. Again. But winter does have its virtues. I found this shelter belt a few years ago. Generally, frost like this is ephemeral, lasting only as long as the wind doesn’t blow - which isn’t long in South Dakota.
An old shelter belt like this generally isn’t particular glamorous but on this morning it had its best face on for my camera.
