It is May, 20, and this morning I celebrated the looming start of summer (30 days from now) by going out and taking photos of freshly fallen snow. Why not?! This is South Dakota, after all. And the snow is photogenic. The weather reports suggests that it should clear up and reach 50 F today, which means that the snow will melt and color will return to our world.
Meanwhile, enjoy this monotone view of a road I've driven hundreds of times and not once thought was picture worthy.
