Mac rarely poses for me and so I rarely try to get photos of him. But a few mornings ago, not only was he appearing to pose, he was doing so in an interesting setting with good morning light. So, Mac, I hope you're happy with your 2015 official portrait.
For the technically minded, this photo was shot at 3200 iso, which is a big number. In fact, I rarely crank my camera up to that setting because I can't imagine that a photo could possibly look good. But I'll have to say that I am impressed. Only the picky, well trained photographers would see the so-called "noise" in this photo.
Frankly, those same folks will probably see other issues. Such as, "Why didn't you put Mac in the center of the frame?" I'll leave you with that question but I will say it was an artistic choice.
