I have a confession to make: I bought a new drone. It is a DJI Mini Pro. It weighs in at 8.5 ounces and, when the props are folded in, it can fit on the top of my iPhone with room to spare. And yet it has a range of over a mile and has a camera that takes incredible high resolution photos and 4K videos.
This is one of the first photos I took with it and if you are seeing this photo on a big screen, you, too, might be impressed with its ability to record detail.
The only problem I have with this little drone is that it doesn’t really like cold and wind. And those who live in Watertown know that the last few days have been particularly cold and windy. Maybe today it will be nice enough to take flight - maybe even in another neighborhood than this.
