Most in our small part of the world know that President Obama is coming to town to speak to today's graduating class of Lake Area Technical Institute. In advance of the President's arrival, much has been happening, including the arrival yesterday of the President's twin limousines.
They were taken off of a huge C-17 transport plane and driven with little delay off of the airport grounds. Where were they going? To a nearby convenience store to get gas. Apparently, the last people to drive them left them with nearly empty tanks!
I am a volunteer photographer for Lake Area Technical Institute today and have clearance to roam the Watertown Civic Arena this afternoon looking for good photos. The longer the President speaks, the more photos I'll get. :-) The ceremonies start at 4 pm.
