The sun is shining today but it illuminates a wold that is mostly white given that we have had snow several times over the last few days. I like the look of the snow - especially as it contrasts will our brilliant blue sky today. But I don't like the cold. And I don't like the lack of color.
Thus, I went looking for something that has a little color and offers a symbols of things to come. I'm sorry to tell you that I don't know what this budding flower is - I photographed it at the Como Park Conservatory without noting its name. I'm happy to tell you that if its purple/pink sisters and brothers stand as evidence, this flower turned out beautifully.
