As much as I'd like to say that I took this photo in Watertown, I can't. We are several days away from blooming beds of tulips I'm afraid. No, this photo was taken in Denver a week or so ago at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Denver is 5 degrees of latitude south of Watertown and nestled up again the eastern slope of the Rockies. Those two factors are enough to allow spring to come much earlier there.
Nevertheless, Deb and I were fortunate to spend part of a perfect Colorado morning at a near perfect place. And in case you think I am making some kind of statement in my title, I'm not. Maybe the Denver Botantic Gardens is? Who knows. . . .
