My interest in photography led me to senior portraiture several years ago. I eventually got a little burned out, in part because I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to keep the process creative.
As I look at some of the photos I took 10 years ago, I realize that I can still remember pretty precise details about the people I photographed and the places we went. I guess that means that I was pretty focused (no pun intended).
I certainly have clear memories of taking this photo in 2005. Sam and I were about 15 miles north of Watertown at what I called the "north studio." The setting was perfect the natural light was wonderful and, of course, Sam was a picture perfect.
