It isn’t easy photographing three moving targets, all of whom have whims and moods that can change faster than the speed of light coming from my flash. Photographers who do this for a living know this well and I always have increased respect for them after a session like this.
It occurs to me that I am generally an observer and rarely a director when I make photographs. But it is a privilege to get to photograph our growing grandchildren from time to time. And, as we all know, they grow up way too fast.
