I won’t say too much today about yet another photo I took of the Split Rock Lighthouse north of Duluth, MN. I will say that I did not launch or land my drone from State Park land - that would be against Minnesota DNR regulations. The fact that I had to launch from about 1/2 mile away from my subject made this and the other drone shot shared below a little tricky in that I kept losing the radio signal and therefore control of the drone. I don’t like it when this happens . . . .
Anyway, I took photos from 4 different locations a couple days ago looking for the “money shot.” To be frank, I never get the “perfect” photo and never will. As Thoreau said, “A man’s reach should exceed his grasp. Or what’s a Heaven for?”
